Many people feel less vulnerable when their with a group of people. No one's looking at them closely and no one knows them intimately. It's easy to hide their real nature along with their true feelings.
When one opens them self up and shares honest feelings one-on-one with them, they stand to gain the rewards of a rich and lasting bond that could never be formed with a group. One on one relastionships take more work, but one treasure them.
